By Microsoft

Vendor's website

Business Central is Microsoft's accounting and ERP product for growing companies, priced per user per month and paid yearly. Essentials costs $80 and Premium $110 per user, and Team Members at $8 are limited users. Bank statements import as files or through the Envestnet Yodlee feed service, and North American installs also have a separate check-and-deposit worksheet without file import.

Costs not in the plan price

  • Every full user needs an Essentials or Premium license, so a five-person finance team pays at least $400 a month before any Team Members.
  • Bank feeds need the Envestnet Yodlee service to be set up, and the pricing page says the actual price is confirmed at checkout.

Categories it qualifies for

Facts we checked

  • To import bank statements as bank feeds, an administrator must set up the Envestnet Yodlee Bank Feed service and link bank accounts. CSV statement files can be imported without it. Source
  • The North American version also offers a Bank Rec. Worksheet that suits checks and deposits but does not import bank statement files. Source
  • Account categories define the layout of the financial statements, and users with a Team Member license cannot edit the chart of accounts. Source
  • The pricing page offers a free 30-day trial and says listed prices are for information only, with the actual price shown at checkout. Source
